Technical FAQ - Assistance and troubleshooting

Refused cards
- Tank type message canceled
- Make a telecollect
- If ok, check the customer's bank card
- If error code, refer to the error code sheet, turn off the GPRS modem or the 5 min terminal then redo a test
- Note the error code and contact us

Mute card / track reading message
- Clean the reader
- If always out of service, contact us

- Berring paper
- Check that the paper is not too fine
- check that falls do not climb the passage
- no longer take the paper
- check if the green power light is on
- check if the green lever is in position ok

- More display: Check the contrast
- Display of strange characters: restart the machine
- If the characters disappear, monitor and check the cord
- If the characters persist, contact us

- Ticket refused
- Clean the reader as indicated in the user manual
- If the reader is over 5 years old, send it to maintenance or replace it

- no reading or no operating sign: check the connection and do a cross test with another reader
- Reading error: check if the credit exceeds maximum credit, check the reading on the console, check the integrity of the badge and change it if it is worn out

- Hors service communications: Check operating lights
- If the red light flashes every 3 seconds, the network signal is good
- if the red light is fixed, the network signal is out of service. Turn off 5 minutes then check
- if the green light is fixed, the RJ45 IP connection is good
- if not, check the connection and the series series and RJ45
- also check that the payments of the GPRS package are up to date

- More access to the terminal
- Check your type of communication:
• GPRS: Check the status of the GPRS modem
• ADSL: Check the status of IP ADSL communications

- Highlight and descendants out of service: Check if the other IP equipment operates
- if they do not work, check the router
- if they work, check the connection and the RJ45 connection (test with a PC from the terminal)
- Check that payments of the Monetic IP Package are up to date
- for off -service offset communications only (example access to remote): check that the router is identical, restart the router
